You can schedule ad's to start on a specific date and expire. Expired ads will no longer show on your site.

The random widget will randomly select an ad from all the ads in your database that you selected to include in the random widget. Each widget and ad has an area defined so only ads for sidebars will appear in sidebars and only ads for content areas will appear in content areas.
The specific widget will only show the one ad defined in the custom widget code (custom widget codes a generated when you create an ad) in the area you choose to add the widget code to. This widget can usefully when using adsense/ad-blocks from companies who feed your site with ads.
